Cathie Cummins is an Occupational Therapist employed in Work Health and Safety coordination at Wagga Wagga Health Service in Murrumbidgee Local Health District. She undertook a NSW Health Rural Research Scholarship program and utilised a patient journey modelling approach to study risks related to patient handling safety with bariatric patients. She has worked in a range of areas and enjoyed challenges across community developmental disability services, staff development, tertiary education, injury management, aged care, manual handling and work health and safety.
