Clinician - Consultant - Author
David is an occupational therapist and consultant with a wealth of experience in occupational ageing and elderhood and is Director and founder of a boutique practice, Get Healthcare Direct.
An accomplished clinician, he also is an author of The Future of Work an Australian National survey on the impact and opportunities of an ageing workforce. David’s experiences encompasses implementing executive consultancy projects and direct clinical
services across Health, Aged Care, Community Care, Government, Education, and Retail industries.
Former founder and CEO of an employment service for older Australians, he has also been guest advisor to the federal government’s Mature Age Participation strategy.
He is advisor to OPSO, a peak advocacy group for Older Australians also member of the Work Special Interest Committee of Occupational Therapy Australia- QLD. David is the current Chair of the Workplace Skills and Productivity Committee of Chambers of
Commerce & Industry Queensland.
The reason why he is involved in such diverse projects? His point of difference is the capacity to blend an intellectual understanding of ageing with practical, workable solutions to complex challenges.
