Proof is in the Pudding: As they say, but when you sit back after a few years and try to put the years into perspective how do you do that? And when we say this is a  “self sustaining” program, what does that mean?

We all have evaluation tools based on key performance indicators that demonstrate numbers trained numbers competent, incident and accident claims statistics and even perhaps issue resolution studies. But when the “vibe” of the organisation has changed, how do you actually demonstrate that?

Culture change is a very subjective area and as such rather difficult to demonstrate through typical documentation styles, particularly when documentation and recording measures have changed over the years throughout the structural changes within most organisations. Worker migration and infrastructural changes will often impact on reporting measures, so once evaluating apples with apples becomes evaluating lemons with passionfruit.

Take a journey with me through two organisations as we construct the stories both negative and positive in evaluation, demonstrating measures that got them there.
